Internal Family Systems Therapy

The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) is an integrative approach to individual psychotherapy, combining systems thinking with the view that the mind comprises relatively discrete subpersonalities, each with its unique viewpoint and qualities. In IFS, there are three primary categories of our “parts.” Exiles, Managers, and Firefighters. This therapy model is great for treating complex trauma.
